Rathbone Marine Engineering invests in cutting-edge equipment to deliver precision, efficiency and reliability across all aspects of marine transmissions, laser alignment, heavy marine diesel services, marine engineering and fabrication. The European designed Acoem NXA Pro is the centrepiece of our laser alignment equipment and is the most advanced of its kind on the market. It’s also a mobile unit, which means we can easily bring it to site when working on boats in regional and remote areas. Meantime the majority of our ‘heavy’ equipment, is based at our Cairns workshop, this includes specialised machining, diagnostic, fabrication and alignment tools, allowing us to tackle complex repairs, rebuilds and refits with unmatched accuracy.

From CNC lathes and milling machines to a 100T hydraulic press, Enerpac pressing equipment, hot parts washer, caustic hot tank, aluminimum paint stripping tank, glass bed water blaster (Dana-Ridge MARS Wet blaster) and advanced testing table for transmissions, we ensure every component is serviced, restored or fabricated to exacting industry standards.
