Rathbone Marine Engineering is one of North Queensland’s leading marine engineering specialists, delivering precision-driven solutions for the heavy marine industry. From high performance diesel servicing and transmission rebuilds to laser alignments and full-scale refits, we ensure vessels remain operational and efficient and maximise the life and performance of your assets. Mark Rathbone, business owner and company director, started as Truck Plant and Marine Repairs in 1997, changing names in 2014 to Rathbone Marine Engineering.

Mark is a highly experienced heavy diesel engineer and has built this business on a legacy of craftsmanship, problem solving and engineering excellence. Mark is supported at work and in life by his family, with Mum Margaret as Office Manager, wife Angela covering HWE and Compliance and son Baden an apprentice diesel fitter. The rest of the team is handpicked for performance, skills and attitude. All share the same focus on and commitment to excellence.
